Recently a laptop mock-up employing an Optimus-Maxiumus OLED keyboard surfaced, but there’s no way to tell if it will be employed or not.
If you don’t know, OLED is the technology that will allow us to have animated, moving paper, a la Firefely. Having said that, its worth it to mention that a keyboard covered in OLEDs would likely cost you $1000+.
Of course, there are those people out there with money to throw at anything that looks shiny, so if this is real, there’s some kind of market for it.
