The Netbook and its Power to Motivate

Windows Nojave
Microsoft is putting a lot more into their new Windows 7 operating system, but not by choice. Microsoft tried to do away with XP, making downgrades a pain in the butt and encouraging manufacturers to stop selling their computers with XP. This was going well for Microsoft, but continued to bothered the consumers. Then the netbook stepped onto the scene.

This sudden wave of small-factor computers showed Microsoft the light. With the Windows 7 beta running better than any Windows operating system to date, Microsoft is quickly jumping on the train. “When Microsoft announced the Windows 7 editions last month, it promised that all editions would run on netbooks.”

This means that Windows 7 will run just as well on low-end netbooks as it will on high-end gaming machines. There was never a reason for Vista to be such a resource hog and had the netbook not come along, Microsoft would never have been motivated to up the ante the way that it did.
