Universal Home Entertainment is releasing the prequel to the acclaimed sci-fi series of thought-provoking storytelling and extraordinary characters…CAPRICA, on DVD April 21st.
SYNOPSIS:
Set 50 years before Battlestar Galactica, Caprica follows two rival families and their patriarchs – Daniel Graystone (Eric Stoltz) and Joseph Adama (Esai Morales) – as they compete and thrive in the vibrant world of the 12 Colonies, a society recognizably close to our own. Enmeshed in the burgeoning technology of artificial intelligence and robotics that will eventually lead to the creation of the Cylons, the two houses go toe-to-toe blending action with corporate conspiracy and sexual politics.

My favorite scene in BSG was when the Cylon switch turned in Boomers head and without her knowing she shot Adama. It was a shock to me and made me excited to see who would be next.
Without a doubt, the biggest ‘holy Crap!!” moment for me was the Galactica dropping into atmosphere during the liberation of New Caprica!! Jumps in, launches her birds, jumps out…That’s just good TV, man!!
Favorite scene was when Kara finds her body on Cylon Earth and Leoben reacts strongly and flees. It really punched up the anticipation of a dramatic backstory resolution within the rules of the naturalistic BSG universe.
Favorite BSG moment…hmm…I guess either When Kara stabs Leoben in the neck on New Caprica, when Dee kills herself, or basically all of No Exit.
Don’t wanna spoil… but when Joseph tells William that their name isn’t Adams, but it is Adama… There is a nice little sound surprise in the background.
Best BSG moment has to be Baltar’s confession to President Roslin in “The Hub”.
My favorite moment is when Galatica at flank speed, rammed into the Cylon colony!
The flash forward to President Baltar on New Caprica was my favorite moment of the series.
