Snake-Eyes is the obvious answer for obvious reasons, A silent ninja, clad all in black with a mysterious past? Are you kidding?! SIGN ME UP!! Go check out the old Marvel comics #21 “silent interlude”, his 2-part origin a few issues later, OR episode 2 of RESOLUTE on youtube.com and try to argue!! YO JOE!!

Ill have to go with Destro because he is what make the battle going between the Joes and Cobras. He is the weapon supplier of Cobra and the mastermind of what happens between Cobra and the Joes. He is more sinister than that infamous Cobra Commander….and knowing is half the battle!

Roadblock is my favorite. he is the tough guy with great team attitude that why I like him.

  • Bill

    Favorite all-time character?

    Clutch.

First Joe I ever bought and I loved his appearances in the comics. Too bad he’s not in the movie!

    Thanks!

  • My Fav. Joe is Hawk, has been ever since I got the M.M.S. in 1982 for Christmas, Hawk’s the right guy to lead, because he’s right there with his troops, he could be away where it’s safe, but chooses to be in the thick of it with his troops. “Now You Know”

Firefly for me.The man to get the job done for Cobra & anyone else who can afford him. He slips past any security measures, can plant explosives, assassinate, intel collecting the works,Firefly is the MAN to send in. Is he an asset of Cobra of ois it really Cobra is Firefly`s asset, the man`s a genius.

  • Storm Shadow. There is incredible depth to his character. He is the Cobra version of what Darth Maul or Boba Fett were to Star Wars. I can’t wait to see what they’ve done with the character for the movie.

  • I always liked Ace but I doudt we will get to see him in the upcoming movie. But I’m hopeful. YoJoe!!!

  • My favorite is Shipwreck. When I was a child, I loved that he had a parrot and he didn’t have the standard military gear on him. He had to be quick on his toes.

  • Brian

My favorite character has always been Cobra Commander. He somehow has a friggin’ huge amount of money, thousands of followers, and a need to control the world in any unorthodox way he can find. If the plan makes sense, he’ll blow it off and go with his Weather Dominator, or his MASS device, or even dinosaurs! He’s a fun villain that you can’t help but feel like rooting for sometimes, or even feel sorry for. (He was once a man.)

Who is my favorite of all time? No other than Snake Eyes. He is so mysterious and has some pretty deep dark secrets. He keeps you thinking on your feet and he is always there when he is needed even though you don’t see him. He is totally awesome and my all time super hero.

  • Mike

I have liked Destro, He is rich, Makes these super weapons and has the Hottest girl in the Joeverse. What else could you want.

  • Patrick

I’m going to go with Snake Eyes and if you have to ask you don’t deserve to know.

  • Jon Weber

My favorite G.I. Joe character is Zartan. He can be ANYBODY. Over the years, marvel/hasbro have added alot of other stuff (ninja, swordsmith apprentice, sabotuer, etc.)And the original toy changed color AND his vehicle CHANGED COLOR. He’s one of the first figures I ever got and one of the few that got me into G.I. Joe

  • Rob

I’ll go a bit away from the Snake Eyes vote and pick Scarlett. Always had a thing for red heads and Rachel Nichols is doing nothing to make me waver from that stance :)

  • kelby bryant

My favorite gi joe would have to be beachhead. A elite ranger with courage of a lion. i remember getting the figure, and saying in a very slow voice no freaking way no way i got beachhead!!!!

  • Jason

My favorite character is Duke because I had his action figure when I was a kid. On the back of the package, it said “Duke doesn’t know the meaning of the word fear” and I told my brother just as he was taking a drink of chocolate milk “That’s because Duke is illiterate” causing him to laugh and shoot chocolate milk out of his nose all over my parents brand new white carpet. 20 years later, it still cracks me up just thinking about it.

  • Laura DeLuca

I always liked Ship Wreck. He was pretty cool.

  • Paul

My favorite was Duke because he gave the ultimate sacrifice, He died taking a cobra strike from serpentor to save his younger brother Falcon’s life, Even if the moms that viewed the movie before it coming out did not like it and made him go into a coma until the movie was over. He was still willing to dye for his bro. And knowing this is half the battle G. I. JOE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
