Television UPDATE: The fate of Terminator has been (unofficially) decided. The things aren’t looking too good.

We just received word that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles will be making a comeback. After being cancelled back in April, sources at WB say they will be revisiting the story.
Lanie Grace wrote at length about this development, and confirmed with her source that TSCC will be coming back with the minimum of a straight to DVD release. A TSCC relaunch isn’t out of the picture yet, but how it comes back depends on a lot of things. The only thing left to do is wait.
Whichever way it does decide to come back, WB and Halcyon will be making sure that TSCC and the inevitable Terminator 5 movie will mesh, canon-wise:
“The goal would be for the series and [Terminator 5] to form a merge point in a future timeline. The plan is to possibly start production in late 2010 or early 2011.”
Partially credited with the revival of a show that had peered into Death’s white-hot eyes is the Official Terminator Wiki. They apparently raised a hubbub large enough to convince WB that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles was a story worth telling. If you were a fan of the show you’re encouraged to Join The Resistance!, in hopes that we’ll get an entire new season of the show that exhibited such potential.

as much as I’m not a fan of series that go on forever, I’m very intrigue with this series ever since I first saw the original move as a kid – can’t wait for this and Term 5.
This series has a lot of potential. The fact that it will stay canon and tie-in with the newest movie is very exciting news.
As usual there are a few who do not believe me, but time will tell. AEM has indicated he thinks it is not so, but keep this in mind.
AEM was so low in the food chain he didn’t know if the show was cancelled or not, so why on earth would he know if the show was to continue given he will not be a part of it?
Food for thought.

Canon? Who gives a crap about canon? The problem was Sarah Connor was so superior to to T4 they should just write off T4 as a big mistake and not save any part of it.
Let’s see if they are smart enought to pick up the series and go forward. The right place for this show is series tv. The characters are rich and deep; the characters are what we fans care about. The Connor family was as alive as you can be but still be made of electrons. Chopping it up into a 2 hr dvd might not do justice to the original episodes.
Arthur, you have a good point.
The Sarah Connor Chronicles show had a lot going for it in the way of characters and story. By the end of the last season it began to lose me, but the finale renewed my hope in the series.
I would love to see the series brought back, but the best we can do is hope.
[...] Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles will be back before Terminator [...]
Cool my favorite show I want to return! Better was to follow season 2, but better than nothing
What is the best way to find the product I am looking for ?
