Castle Crashers Necromantic DLC Released – Update

Update: As of this morning, the Necromantic Pack is available for download on Xbox Live for 160Microsoft Points. Time to get your chainsaw on.

Necromancer DLC for Castle Crashers

The Behemoth Development Blog officially announced their newest Castle Crashers DLC: The Necromantic Pack. Details have been leaked here and there, but the official word is that the DLC will contain two new characters, two new weapons and a new animal orb.

The Necromantic Pack includes two new characters: the Cult Minion and the titular Necromancer. The Behemoth mentioned that the magic of the necromancer is “pure awesome.” Considering the character’s name, this statement implies the ability to raise the dead. Dragonhead steps in as the newest animal orb with claims that he/she will “bring the heat.” Lastly we’ll be getting two new weapons: the NG Skull Mace and the “damn Chainsaw.” Soon surely couldn’t been soon enough.

The price is still up in the air, but if their previously released King Pack is any indication, it will probably (hopefully) be around 160Microsoft Points. Don’t tell Microsoft, but the prospect of wielding a chainsaw while commanding an undead army is worth a lot more than $2.00.

“Soon” is as specific as the release date gets due to Microsoft having the final say.
