Dr. Horrible himself tweeted to share the very exciting news with the world. Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog has won an Emmy.

Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog has won an Emmy for “Outstanding Special Class – Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Program.” Written by Joss Whedon, his brothers Zack Whedon and Jed Whedon, and actress Maurissa Tancharoen, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog quickly became an internet phenomenon. It has since surpassed the boundaries of the internet.
