Art Angus MacLane and the CubeDudes sounds like the name of an obscure band you tell your friends about to impress them. Because we know you love impressing your friends, we’ll do you one better. Angus MacLane makes CubeDudes.
I thought I had seen it all when it comes to LEGOs. There’s the LEGO house, the LEGO ball and even the LEGO Chewbacca. That was until I discovered CubeDudes. Created by Flickr user Maclane, these little guys take small-scale LEGO builds to the next level.
The pieces range from Robots to Superheroes with a little something for everyone. While we’ve included a few below, there are 64 in all. You should go see them. (If you’re really itchin’ for more, Stuart Immonen has also done some pretty bitchin’ work with LEGOs.)
CubeDude Soundwave and CubeDude Iron Giant (with Hogarth!)

CubeDude Mazinger Z and CubeDude Voltron

CubeDude Preadator (No Helmet) and CubeDude Alien

CubeDude Boba Fett and CubeDude Aquaman

CubeDude T-800 and CubeDude T-1000, complete with LEGO battle damage.
