Jill Thompson and Hellboy

Mike Mignola’s Hellboy is known as much for its intriguing stories as its unique art style, so much so that it’s difficult to imagine him being portrayed any other way. That is, until you see what we’ve got for you today. From an upcoming Beasts of Burden one-shot featuring Hellboy, she manages to capture his inherent love for animals as well as his endless struggle against “things that go bump” in this beautiful full color painting.
