WeAreAtomik.com in association with FX Internationl present Atomik Theatre, The first film festival of it's kind in Central Florida history, celebrating the best in independent Horror, Science-Fiction and Fantasy films! We are currently accepting submissions for possible inclusion in our upcoming years events docket, culminating in our Spring 2010 Festival, being held at the 2010 FX International Convention! Inside of the three genres--Horror, Science-Fiction and Fantasy--there will be four categories of submission:

• Feature Films (Any film 60+ minutes in length)
• Short Films (Any film 59 minutes or less)
• Animations (any length and type of animation)
and
• Documentary (any length documentary as long as it is genre related)

Registration for Atomik Theatre is $25 US dollars and can be paid through the mail by US money order or digitally through Paypal.

Each seperate submission must include:

• A submission form (Careful, PDF)
• The $25 submission fee

• A color or black and white press kit including supplemental materials about your submission, high resolution scene stills and publicity photos of the filmmakers and principle cast for website & program use.
• A trailer showcasing scenes from your submitted film, interviews with cast and/or crew, behind-the-scenes footage, etc. to be displayed on WeAreAtomik.com in the months leading up to the festival. (3 minutes or less).
and
• Reference and documentation of any copyrighted material used and proof of fair use

Atomik Theatre will be an all-digital event, requiring that you submit your work on an NTSC DVD, Flash Drive or over the internet. (All video formats are accepted but .avi, .mpeg and .mov are recommended. Questions? contact us anytime at filmfestival@weareatomik.com to make sure your format is supported.)

The film submitted must be of the submitters own creation.

The artist with creative control over the project must be the submitter and will recieve any prizes awarded.

Any and all films submitted that meet submission guidelines will be considered for inclusion in the 2010 Atomik Theatre events docket and, in the event of winning an award, for any resultant

We here at WeAreAtomik.com are firm supporters of your first amendment film making rights! Projects with profanity, violence, nudity and other "ADULT" content WILL ABSOLUTELY BE considered for the festival.

All entries are null and void if entry form or submission fee are missing from submission.

In the case of disqualification for any reason, questions, disputes or misunderstandings, Atomik Theatre judge's decisions are final.

Atomik Theatre will be accepting submissions from all over the world, but to be considered they must be subtitled in English.

Atomik Theatre is open to anyone who wishes to enter of any age, race, orientation or species.

DVDs and Press Materials will not be returned and may later be used on WeAreAtomik.com. Do not send any originals or anything that you do not have another copy of.

Email should be included on the submission form for acknowledgment that we have recieved your entry and for other announcements about your submission or the film festival, including entry into the film festival and winning awards in the film festival.

The Atomik Theatre entry deadline is tentatively set for January 1st, 2010. However, the sooner your submission is received, the more exposure your work will get!
