We’re often enjoy rooting for the underdog, so when images of the Zune HD surfaced, we were excited to see something that might combat the iPod. Really though, I’m not sure how so much information can be floating around and still not actually know anything.

Steve Ballmer recently talked about the status of the Zune device. From what we gathered, Microsoft isn’t going to invest anything extra into the Zune software or hardware but they still plan to support the device and the community.
